Vitor was a Distinguished Lecturer at the Wigner 121 Scientific Symposium, and talked about the gravitational wave revolution and new, powerful tests of General Relativity and black hole physics.
The Wigner Research Centre for Physics celebrated the 121st anniversary of the birth of its namesake and its own 10th birthday. "Wigner 121 Scientific Symposium" was the second conference after Wigner 111. On the one hand, it was a tribute to the scientific legacy of Eugene Paul Wigner, who received his Nobel Prize 60 years ago. On the other hand, it is an international forum where the scientific community of the Wigner RCP, the institute that bears Wigner's name, will present the latest scientific achievements of the institute.
