Arianna Foschi defended successfully her PhD thesis "The Galactic Center: a testing ground for dark matter and gravity theories", under the supervision of Prof. Vitor Cardoso and the co-supervision of prof. Paulo Garcia. The PhD jury was composed of Stefan Gillessen from Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial physics, Andrea Maselli from GSSI and David Hilditch from Técnico, and chaired by the CENTRA president Ilidio Lopes. Her thesis was awarded Distinction. She presented her PhD work on using the Galactic Center and S-stars as a tool to constraint dark matter model related with black holes superradiance. She will now move to Paris Observatory in Meudon to continue working on the Galactic Center with the GRAVITY collaboration.
